Fishing Brissie Wharfs

hey fellas,

just wondering what size jigheads people tend to use around the terminals at the mouth of the river, going to give it a try soon for squire and the like.

Mate i wouldnt go anything more heavy than 1/50th.

Just kidding mate id say 1/16 down to 1/4, depending on the conditions, good luck, hope you get some nice squire/bream/cod or even a thready.

From what I have heard, you mite be better fishing fairly heavy around there. 1/8 would be what I would try first, depending on the current and depth of course.

depends on what you want to target I guess, there are some bream around and fishing light is great fun, but I've seen people get bricked something fierce around structure and I'm sure there are some nice cod living near there, just mix it up a little and see what you get, would be really interested in the reports since I'm mostly land based and I would love to try out new easily accessible spots...
