sold Heavy inshore fishing combo wanted

i'm after a reliable inshore fishing combo.

i'd prefer baitcasters but quality spinning conbo will be good as well.

need the reel to hold at least 200m of 40lb mono with quality drag system.

the rod must be powerful enough to give out some serious stopping power. preferable 15kg stuff.

15-25kg ian miller t curve blue water baitcaster and a calcutta 700 is what i use

I`ve got a Daiwa Saltist 40H overhead on a Daiwa Saltist graphite rod with 300m of brand new 50lb Daiwa Accu Depth coloured braid on it.

You can buy it off me for $350.

The whole combo is almost brand new.

it's a 7 foot, 15-20-30lb.

I don't get it really, but that's what it says.

It has a gimble butt and the handle above the reel is a triangular shape.

If its bait, i know some of the guys in Texas, USA from www.tx-sharkfishing.com use small overheads and longer rods for casting decent shark baits out.

i just post to see if anyone's got things for sell not after advise on gear. if i'm serious, i'd get a saltiga Dogfight with fisherman jigging rod. but at this stage, any heavy stuff will be good.

What do you want to catch big fella? What size fish are we talking about? 20-30-40-50kg+

I got some great advice from Bill Watson up at Noosa...when he is targeting the big 20kg+ spanish mac's or big GT's he pointed me towards the Shimano Baitrunner 4500 (I went the 3500) with a 7' Taipan rod. If you have seen the pics of Bills fish he catches thi cheap, reliable rig seems to do the job very nicley for a spinning combo.

Depends if you want to skull drag the fish or be a Samori and have a fair fight!

no ones trying to tell you what you need they want to know what you want you dont walk into a tackle shop and say i want to fish sell me a rod and expect them to guess what your after.

here's my explanation: all i need is a heavy combo to skull drag fish in. fish's around 10kilo mark.

i agree malcom... an alvey loaded with whatever line you want will stand any pressure and can skull drag a bewdy if that's what you are after. no drag system but for skull dragging who cares? good for casting long distances too as long as you fill the reel with line.
