Tailor down the coast

Hey guys I want to chase some tailor down the coast land based, I havnt really targeted tailor before but want to target them Later tonight. Any suggestions for spots will be greatly appreciated....

im headin down the coast 2 casuarina for a week leaving tomorrow

will be definetly searchign for a few tailor of the beach so will let you knowo how i go if that would help

The rock wall at the southport seaway, sand pumping jetty and Currumbin creek are good spots

Closer spots are black rock, Maggies Hole and Bogenbah headland, and Kingscliff or Fingal

tallebugera groyne, burleigh point,any deep double ended gutters along any of the southern goldcoast beaches

get down there well before dusk and check out the beaches for gutters

you can usually spot the right sort of gutters on burleigh beach from the carpark on burleigh point

The South Seaway wall is closed, there is a boat being built for a movie

Off the beach at southport is extremely good in good conditions when there is a deep gutter ... mack attack caught a 62cm taylor there on a ganged pilchard with only a very small weighted sinker.
