Any one got any info on Abu Tarantula baitcaster

My young bloke has been doing really well with his crappy Ebay baitcaster I bought him for last christmas (I can't even cast the mongrel thing!).

So I thought I would get him a little bit better quality reel for christmas. Mo Tackle have a special on at the moment on the Abu Tarantula STBC400, knocked down to $39 from $89.

Anyway for that price I thought it worth a shot, Abu's have a good name, and it has reasonable specs. Anyone got one or used one?

i've gone thru a dozen abu's (the el cheapo's i mean) in my time and have found as long as they are maintained they give something back for a while. plus that tarantula has 6.1:1 AND 39 bucks... i say go for it.. i'm sure you've paid similar cash for a crappy meal at some restaurant. i sure have!
