Can anyone tell me where the yabby banks are around Lota Creek
Thanks,
Wassa

Welcome to the site Wassa.

The banks are thick and plentiful.

I park a little south of the Lota Fish & Chip shop. There is a few gaps in the mangroves (do not wear good shoes).

You can only do this at low tide. At low tide you will see the channel weaving out once the flats drain off. Walk towards the channel and the yabby holes should jump out at you. If not turn left and walk along until you see them.

Thanks for the prompt reply Angus.

@Angus knows it well and fishes it very well.

If you are in a boat there are bountiful banks on the left (south east?) of the first courner. There are some closer to the mouth of the creek on the southern side but the mud is very very deep and makes for very hard work.

Good luck. Some nice whiting to be had there mate
