went to np dam for a hour this arvo armed with the only spinner bait i own (gave up buying spinnerbaits due to losing them all in the weeds:P ) anyway i scored a yella!..first time in ages i had caught a yella..hit the lure out long and deep, so i thout it was a bass and the runs it was doing had me convinced it was a bass....but very happy it turned into a yella...might have to invest in restocking in those spinnerbaits:P [img size=320]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/DSC00327_2.jpg

Well done Jimmybob there are a few yellas around at the moment. I prefer the vortex s/baits you can't beat them for distance casting, less helicoptering and the fish love them ha ha they were recently on sale at a mart for 25% off

Good fish jimmybob, I really like that second photo. They sure do surprise you sometimes. I've hooked onto quite a few that I'd called for bass. Most give up the fight pretty quick, but every once in a while you get one with a bit of mongrel in him.
