went for a quick session this arvo on the way home from work.. with another new afo member Mr JD only there for about one hour.. had a few hits and MR JD managed to get a Pinky.. just down from the boat ramp that is there.. :fishing:

think what did the damage was a shad bout 2 or 3 inch.. and silverish in colour.. also a 1-32 weight jigghead.

nice one, fished the pine plenty of times and never seen a pinky before some nice cod and jacks in there too

We saw some come up at Deep Water Bend last november, I wonder what changed for this to start happening??

Nice little pinky there! A couple of weeks ago one of my mates caught a little pinky of about 15 cm at Deepwater Bend.

how do you cast with a 1/32 jigg?

real light line?

I dont have a lot of finesse when I go fishing,

If all fails I just batter them

with a 1/4 jigg and a 4 inch minow.

mind you under bridges and near structure I can flick the light ones.

Yeh flatty catcher i think MR JD was fishing with 4 pound

i usually fish with 2 pound on my eggbeater.. you just get that

bit more on the distance.. but on my baitcaster i got 10 pound
