queensland North Pine dam 31/12/06

Headed to North pine dam with the missus to fill in a couple of hours before the drinking began.

The plan : For me to catch huge numbers of monster natives on bait and lure.

For Belinda to catch me an esky full of gar to use as bait at Manly rocks.

The result: Well things don't always go as planned in fishing.

Got this bass on one of my four shrimp (Should of guessed it was going to be tough when bait was hard to get.) And lost one of similar size at the bank on a tassie devil

And we only got four garfish as well, oh well thats fishing

Still could be worse could of caught nothing, we fished near Bullocky rest

Had the shrimp traps in over night at Tinny creek, will try Ox heart as bait next time.

The lost fish was on a green, yellow and red one, only lost it cause I was frightened of the sinking mud and the hook pulled. Oh well next time I will just jump staight in
