Troy, Matt and myself hit up north pine damn on sunday 31st. We couldn't get there at dawn which was a bit of a let down but we still managed some good fish. I started it off with my first real bass(non-charter), casting a spinner bait at a swerl. It went 39cm(fork). Then troy got in with a jackall and a 26cm bass. Time past so we moved around to a nice little rocky patch so troy lofted his jackall and as it hit the water said \" there has to be a bass here!\" One twitch bamm! he's on and in comes a 41cm bass. We kept walking till we found the fish and I nailed another on a jackall going 36cm I think. Met up with ando and moved back to the dam wall but we didn't get anything for ages. Finally it started getting dark and the fish started biting and I was onto another bass of 38cm. Just as we were about to leave Matt got his 1st bass of the day but I forgot how big it was.

Twas a great day with enough fish at the worst time of day.

Matt has some photos from his beut camera and all the fish were released properly and swam away strongly.

Nice one guys. All land based bass are good ones and they look like good sized healthy fish.

I might try and get up there myself as soon as possible again!
