Does anyone know if you can launch from the water tower anymore ?

we were up there sunday morn and it all seemed very closed off.. altho whilst trekking thru the bush on the far reaches of the other side of the dam there were 2 boats cruising around. so somewhere is still open

A new ramp has been built just down from the water tower mate, as u reach the top of the big hill where u normally turn right to get to the water tower u will see the access gate to the new ramp, also better parking and turnaround room in there as well

thanks heaps mate so its ready to use now ? and have you been there lately and how did you do ?

Its been ready for a while now and I havent been in a couple of months unfortunately, it says dry weather access only but the track has always been good when I have been there

I havent been to new ramp but spoke to bloke at western arm and he said its a bit iffy for front wheel drive when wet as its a bit steep with loose gravel.If you ring council they will put through to rangers for latest info.
