for those who fish the banks of north pine dam where ya not allowed to ( not that any of our members do)keep ya eyes peeled or maybe fish in the correct zones due to the rangers out in 4x4's looking for fishermen to nab..:pinch: ..just got a little heads up on this activity....

i know of 1 at mcgavins view.walk down to the water from the walking track and turn right and walk the edge of the bank till ya get to the posts with the roped flags strung across your path then look to ya right and there u have it a big sign sayin no fishing or something along those lines....

thanks mate do you know if the no fish zones are for habitat or it is pipes etc that are the reason?

Oztrav I would like to think its for habitat protection...you just have to take alook around the allowed fishing areas at all the garbage and rubbish left behind from slack fishos...DISGUSTING !!

Yeah when I went out with some other brc members over the weekend we were disgusted by the amount of garbage left over, half a spool of lines tackle packaging, food wrappers cut up cast nets (which arent allowed to be used anyway)
