queensland Hinze Session

Got out of bed very early this morning and decided to go wet a line in hope of a toga and a few bass. Steped out the door and considered going back inside as it was a little chilly at 3am

Put the yak in the water and not long after I had a few swirls but the fish were not super keen on my popper but I persisted for a nil result. I switched to a slightly more subtle surface frog and had instant result boating five fish for the morning all before any reasonable light had reared its head with the best a very reasonable 48.5cm. It shut down as quick as it fired up but I did manage to raise a toga but couldn't get it to hit the lure. Was very spooky.

Nice job catching them on the freddos! Do you think your sammys would have gotten a strike that morning?

Quite possibly mate. The popper seemed to be to aggressive and the sammys have a quieter action so I cant see why they wouldn't work. I lost all four of my sammys on the weekend to trevs

well done again!!!! thats an awesome bass!!!! , going to pick up the last 3 prial pencils tomorrow from local tackle store, they been hiding them for me their similar to sammy, i havent had one for a while thats why i havent been bassin local rivers

as soon as i get the battery for the 310 dart im out there i can see the dam from my back door it always looks inviting and fishy
