Reccomendations for fishing next tuesday?

Next Tuesday(19th) school teachers are having a strike, so i thought I'd take my daughter out for a fish (more fun than school anyway).

We've been mainly fishing around Jindalee (not exactly a fishing mecca) and I'd like to take her somewhere different!

Any recommendations that are easily accessible and good for kids, within about an hour of Jindalee? Doesn't necessarily have to be in the river.

ahh, theres pinkenba, bretts wharf, breakfast creek, jacobs well, the spit(gold coast) and probably the best two for bream and stuff would be coronation drive near the regatta and victoria point on the boardwalk that comes out into the river.

its not great for big fish, but if u just need lots of fish for ur bait, go to cabbage tree creek shorncliffe.

lots of under size fish. enough to keep a junior fisher woman happy!!

u'll get the odd legal bream/whiting though!

brighton end of the hornibrook bridge will have heaps of whiting to keep her busy.
