Well John Petrie and I headed to Strabroke for out easter break.

This was from the 17th od April until the 25th. It was a decent trip with several different styles of fishing tried. Some success was had fishing for whting and bream off the beach. Petrie could not keep the dart off his line fishing from Dune Rocks. From the rocky headland at Point Lookout Petrie also managed a great Tarwhine some nice sized Silver Trevally.

We also went fishing around at Amity where theere were literally Tuna breaking the surface everywhere. Not much success ehre at all although the bait fish were think (fat chance of going for a swim). Although on my first cast ever with my new baitcaster i caught my first ever grassy sweetlip so that was cool. Petrie also managed some undersized bream and a Flatty while i was fishing with whole fish baits for \"something bigger\" as Amity is slightly infamous for now.

Anyway all in all it was a very good trip although nothing amazing was bagged.

Angus.
