GC charters that partner up with pub's

Just wondering if anybody knows of any charters down the coast that have partnered up with a local pub/restraunt to cook the catch for the group after the day out?

Had this done for me up north a couple of years back and iam looking at doing a charter for my mates bday and think this would be a great finish to the day.

any hints? or none down there? would think there would be due to the high amount of tourists with nowhere to cook :s

I think there's a fishing club at the Oxenford Tavern, thats as close as it gets i think.

If your part of a group staying at a pub you can usually Tee it up, just ask around when you book.

Out there charters have a BBQ lunch on their all day fishing charters that cook your catch for you.

:laugh: If it's the same owner at Outthere Charters, you might be a tad hungry still after lunch, :whistle: although we did get a few dollies on the second 1/2 price charter they offered to make up for the debacle of the initial trip with them.

It's generally accepted within the AFO community that they are not near the top when recommending a charter operator.

Other charters do leave from the same marina at The Spit on the Goldie which has a big beer garden "restaurant". Just need to be cautious of the bouncers and some of the clientele :S

so what would the most recommended charter be? iam not over worried about the catch being cooked. but as iam booking this for my mates bday i do wanna make it a pretty memorable time.

I was about to say that I know of a charter where you couldnt get soft drink or water, much less a beer and BBQ fish!
