How's this baby.

One of the local forums over in the West have just put them up. They're taken up in Exmouth, about 1,300kms north of Perth.

There's a dead humpback in the area which has washed up on one of the beaches which is the reason for it being so shallow. Apparently it's hanging out with 10-12 tigers between six and twelve feet long!

if you look at the lobes on the tail of a white versus a tiger youll note the tigers lower fin part is short wheras the top is much larger this is so it can hapily swim in shalow water wheras the whites even fin is designed for ocean work and not so good in shallow water

great photos though

Tigers also have an extremely blunt head/nose when compared to Whites ;)

Yes it does have blunt nose, now you mention it.

Taken from wiki - They are in the same family as the Bull shark

The tiger shark is a member of the order Carcharhiniformes;members of this order are characterized by the presence of a nictitating membrane over the eyes, two dorsal fins, an anal fin, and five gill slits. It is the largest member of the Carcharhinidae family, commonly referred to as requiem sharks. This family includes some other well-known sharks such as the blue shark, lemon shark and bull shark.
