Has anyone caught some trevally around the GC?

Just seeing if anyone has been lucky to get onto some trevally down around the gold coast?????? Christmas last year we found some good big eye around the swimming enclosure accross from australia fair shopping centre. We used poppers casting towards the net and after a couple of pops hooked up!!!!! Most were in the 1-3kg size range. Fun as on the 4lb line!!!!! Does anyone know other good spots 4 the trevs????

mate you will find them right through all of the canals that run off the broadwater or the nerang river just look for places where there is a noticable eddy or current around a point

or some sort of structure and you'll find them

yeah around eddys and currents are best, i got 2 big eyes just across the road from 19th ave lake, on a run out tide the lake drains into the creak and thats when the trevs go on the bite, i got mine on ATOMIC TEASERS.
