resolved personal messages

maybe its just me, but whenever i reply to a pm someone has sent me the original message gets deleted from my inbox.

is there a way that we can keep the incoming email whilst still replying to it? often i'd like to keep these messages for future reference rather than asking them to send it again.

The new PM system should keep all the previous posts showing up under the present message.

Must like an email.

I think this is just being tweaked...

It sounds like it won't be an issue for much longer, but you can go to the deleted folder and restore the messages you want to keep.

You can still view it in your sent items box.

However I would not rely on keeping any valued info in your pm boxes as occasionally with site upgrades etc they get wiped.

Hi,

Yes we have upgraded the community section of the site and this included the PM system. All existing messages and sent messages should still be in your inbox.

Please make sure you go to your inbox at this stage by going to the main menu > Components > Private Messages
