A good place for the younger ones

Hey there all u guys and gals,

I've got a 6 yr son and i recently got him his first rod, just a cheap one from BCF and i was wondering where there are some good spots for taking him to fish which hopefully provide some bites or even his first fish

I've tried Nugee beach and shorecliff with him with no luck. Places with a good flat casting spot, open area so he can kick the footy around or play if he gets bored and shade would be ideal.

Any help or ideas would be great

most the parks along the river should be ok .

small hook and servo prawns .

should get u bream and catfish .

i go to few of the parks with the kids .the catfish keep them entertained

Hey Mick give the mouth of the pine river a crack nice sandy area so if he get's borded he can play on the sand and you never know what you hall in whitting,flathead or even bream so good luck
