heat affected SPs

has anyone else had any trouble with heat affected sp's

i was sorting through my collection and 3 packets of kokoda sps have melted into a blob

they are the only brand every thing else is fine

i had berkley power baits do the same, but as with you all others where fine.

all my powerbaits are fine thank god,i've got about 20 unopened packs of them

i dont care how much you twitch that rod tip ,i dont think a round ball of plastic will have great action through the water.

Transams are bad for it, you have to keep them in the original box or they will warp regardless of the heat.

Heat also affects your hard bodies, I had a few split on me last summer,Manns being the worst. I leave nothing in the sun anymore, I always make sure it is covered in the boat.

As Feral said Transams are a blob in the sun. I lost three a few weeks back, I'm not gonna bother replacing them.

I find the Berkley powerbaits to be good in the heat, but the gulbs are bad, they'll dry out in twenty minutes.

never had any melt on me, but the gulps do dry out quick. powerbaits no probs, mojiko SP's no probs, Prongs are good...

most of mine have stayed fine, which is good.

i try to keep them in a small shaded area if i can, though the heat does get there at times.
