Fishing Wello Pt

Hi guys, looks like ill be fishing wello pt jetty a bit, wat would i be looking at getting around this time of yr off the jetty,

I was down there on friday morning. I went for a walk along the jetty and noticed thousands of hardy heads, so if youve got a castnet it would be worth a go to get a few livies, just be aware of the rocks near the ramp on the left hand side. There was a guy fishing of the end, he had landed a few small bream. Maybe dusk/night would be the go.

Expect grinners, pike and all manner of tiny reef species, and the occasional unstoppable. I would suggest also walking the shore and casting small plastics for flathead and bream, especially on the rising tide.

ok kool thanks guys, is there any place close by that i can catch pelagics from the shore... also i live near tingalpa creek is there much in there worth targeting

if you consider flatties,whiting,bream or even jack, worth targeting, ..yea

i went for a look down at chadwell rd today, looks ok for a flick, wat would be best to use, SP,HB's, Bait

Plastics worm style for whiting or bream,and prawn style for jacks and some stonker flathead along with bream

walk the flats at low tide out at the mouth of tingalpa creek....flatties, bream...maybe a trev....a guy caught a small cobia there a couple of weeks ago...(65cm)
