redland bay?

hi all

my mate and i will be heading to redland bay in the near future. i would like to know a few things. i have done an assesment on passed outings and it looks quite sharky. are there any sharks ther? and what type of shark am i likely to find and where and how big do you get them. and also where can i net some mullet or equivelent bait.

Are you Land based or do you have a boat?

Plenty of bullies around , any of the drop offs will produce just anchor up and wait for them to cruise past. Size normally around the 3 foot mark.They are a pain in the butt in your crab dillys.for bait cast net livies in the back of the marina.

mmm which mariner idk the area all that well. is that where the ferry to straddie leaves from?

Weinam creek the marina is just upstream from the ramp.

THe southern wall at the entrance for bream and tailor in season plus the odd cod.
