Where to access south pine river fresh?

I have always wanted to fish down in the sth pine river behind brendale/lakes near the new over pass. Where is a good spot to launch a yak or even walk and flick from the bank. cheers

behind westfield there are heaps of spots, pretty sure dixon st beside the westfield, go right to the end theres a park, would be ok to launch, or pine rivers park there are some nice banks for flicking. its not overly fresh more like brackish but have a crack. im going to give it a shot around some structure just using surface lures.

The best spot that I know of is Learmonth St on the northern side of Wewstfield.

There is a boat ramp and parking there.

There is a park at the end of Dixon St behind Westfield but most of the banks are steep and frankly to save a couple of hundred metres its probably just not worth it.

agreed dixson srteet is very steep, snakes there too!!

Unless they have improved the ramp at Bob Bell (Learmonth st) since putting it in, make sure you are launching and returning at least at half tide. Its a very short ramp with a big drop at the end.

They upgraded it a while ago, great ramp and car park could launch a 5 mtr boat no worries
