queensland the day in ???

so headed to a spot which is un-named in this post due to the success we had today... not going to put to much effort into the report because in buggered. ill just tell you what we got.

ended up with around 10 flatties, 8 of them wer between 36 and 40cm but then at the same time 2 bigger ones, a 51cm flattie and on a little sx40 i managed a 66cm flattie! which was a buzz on 4lb line, luckily i had recently put 8lb leader on instead of 4lb as it nearly chewed through it. we let the 66cm one go but kept the 51cm. as well as that a nice 27cm bream and a lot more little bream, 2 long toms which was a suprise, a little chopper tailor and a whiting that wasnt much bigger than the lure.. also we managed 3 sand crabs and 2 mud crabs... the only downside was we lost 2 sx40's so around $35 worth.

all in all a good day out on the water!

good stuff nice fish on 4lb would of been fun fight but scarey at the boat

well flathead fillets arent cheap and i dare say alot tastier than sx40 so not a bad tradeoff

yea but not 2 sx40's thats like $35 worth lol

this is dads whiting that wuld have been around 5 or 6cm that he got on an sx40

amazingly stu it wasnt the fight i would have expected but still fun. i think its because it swallowed it it didnt fight as well as if it had of been hooked in the lip but thats just my theory.
