A bit of a tip when taking photos of unknown fish. Try and lie them flat on something and nice close up with all the fins extended. It pays to take notice of details such as type of jaw/teeth etc too.

Did you eat it mate? Looks like you would have gotten reasonable sized fillets out of it.
