queensland Moreton 16/04/07

Well we started the day at 5am at the boat ramp and set off to the four beacons. The wind was up a bit so it was a bumpy ride across the bay. Spent about 4 hours working different areas and trying different lures and baits.

Caught a sh*t load of grinners and just about every other species squire, sweet lip, bream, moses perch, trevs but everything was under sized and got thrown back.

By this satge the bay had glassed off and the wind had disappeared all together.

We then headed over to mud for a try and the same again caught everything under the sun but it was all under sized and had to go back. Didn’t even get anything worth a photo.:S

That’s fishing I guess.

Despite the lack of legal sized fish its always good to get out in the bay and by the looks of it you chose the day to do it. The weather and water look superb in those photos and your boat looks like a real nice set-up.

Wow Poly that looks magic - it's just one of the better feelings in life - skimming accross the top of glass like water with a nice boat with a wopping big donk on the back. :woohoo:
