queensland Yaking Thursday and Friday

Ok, I'm finishing work tomorrow morning and will be back in bris Wednesday arvo.

Been away working for over a month and itching to get the yak and rod wet before it goes in the container for the move across the country.

Going fishing Thursday and Friday morning, no real plans yet of what or where.

Just seeing if anyone else is going out, wants to come along or give some tips ?

Not much has changed in the month you've been gone.

The Regular Yakers around Wello are still getting some good squire, and the tides should be perfect for a pre dawn start either day.

Otherwise I have been to Jacobs Well the last couple of weekends chasing Flattys with good succes. I have been drifting in the channel flicking plastics to the bank. A lot of fish in the 40 - 50cm range with the odd 70cm plus fish, (one of which has my jig head and squigy wriggler still, poor old girl ).
