Freshwater fishing permits on the way to NPD

I am heading out for a fish this Saturday with a mate.

No permit, no credit card and only transport to work, so me and my mate will (I don't think he is savvy to buy one on the net), be driving up and looking to buy a permit on the way to NPD from south side.

If we leave early morn is there any 24 hr servos on the way that sell permits.

I think you can buy a permit at The Tackle Shop at the carseldine caltex complex.

I don't think they do mate. Here is a link with some information about the dam though if you want to check on anything. It's a great site if you want to fish the NPD.

Not sure, I thought you had been camping up that way.

To tell the truth I have only been there once and I just drove past and had a fish at a random spot with out any luck.
