Went fishing in west end this arvo, nothing inthe cast net, spots i "always" get prawns were empty. Stacks of water moving through the river. So much current that it was actually causing my line to go the opposite way to the incoming tide, Also heaps of debris, and the water tastes fully fresh. Yes i had a "tiny" taste. Caught A few catties, thats it.

found the same Thursday... managed to pull a dozen or so tailor but was out in the bay away from the rivers fresh overload . Should be great for BRC if it doesn't dump between then.

be careful cast netting btw dont want to be catching a log

i did the same in the pine on saturday, FULL FRESH, one catty on a manns 5+,
