hey everyonee, just posting my session i had last night.

so a couple of my mates and i decided to go for a flick last night. we went to couple spots. at our last spot the trevs were busting up crazy. we started throwing poppers out. we had tripple hook up in the first cast. it was awsome. the busting up went on for a good two hrs. we caught about 20 all up. we kepts 3 each. lures used were skitter pop. also caught a flatty on deepdivers.

all trevs were around 40cm mark. was a good night.

hey EG - they'll taste better if you bleed them. A fair amount of bloody comes out of them once you bleed them. Plus if you fillet them and skin them, take out their blood line on the skin side.

Nice haul boys there good fun on light gear but I'm not a fan of eating the trev's but the flathead I don't think you can beat them on chew

I like the the trevs. I like the taste and the firm flesh. I also bleed them straight away and put them in an ice slurrry straight away. Good haul. Always good fun on light gear especially land based
