Any Good fishing spots in Wynnum

Hey im still kinda new to fishing but i was wondering if there was some decent spots around wynnum or wellingtion point

try the rocks at manly marina, i have caught trevally, flathead,cod and longtom from there.

Have a look at this site www.sunfishqld.com.au/ click on 'Sites of Interest' then 'Where to go fishing'.

It should give you plenty of shore-based options. Please note that the maps were published before the introduction of the green zones (eg Woody Point) so I'd be checking that you can still fish there.

Tingalpa creek has a couple of fishing platforms that are always worth a look for estuary species like flathead and bream

Look on a site like google maps or nearmap. Find an area you would be keen on going to, then look for sand flats.

The drop off of the sand flat will hold lots of fish.

Thanks for all suggestions. went there around 5 yesterday really bad tide and crazy wind at wellington point and then tried wynnum where the jetty is nothing at all low tide. SO traveled to southport. Caught a 33cm bream and a 38cm sweet lip also alot of undersized breams only a couple were legal sized and a couple Moses.

Just head in towards the canals, it not to far from the southport bridge either and if your chasing jacks makeri is a really good hit right now.
