Hello Fellow Anglers

Hi All,

Well I only came across this sight about a week ago and I'm hooked (pardon the pun). I've already posted a fair bit and feel like I've read through about 100 threads.

Anyway, I never realised there were so many places to fish around Brisbane. I have been traveling to Tweed Heads or Brunswick Heads for years to do my fishing not realising there were huge KT Salmon swimming around in the river I can see from my bedroom window.

Seeing as I cut my teeth on Salmon growing up in Central Queensland I'm really keen to get in on that action. So far in my first week of fishing the Brissie River I've caught tons of catfish, a mystery fish that my be a Jew, a few Bream and a foul hooked Prawn.

So I'll be keen to hear any stories about fish caught in my local area because I love to get a line wet for a few hours. Especially after a hard day.
