queensland upper bremer bass

i caught these fish last sunday morning in about 10m stretch of creek biggest landed was just over 30cm but had a couple of bigger strikes witch saw me lose 2 lures because i could not turn them befor they got into timber they wer having a go at any lure i would put near them and if i missed a strike put a different lure on and cast in the same spot and on they would get again landed 7 and missed a few as well good fun most intense lure fishing trip yet

hope i can find them again soon in the same spot

some nice fish mate.. great to hear they're up that way again... thought it was highly toxic there after the floods??

That's awesome. Haven't seen a Bass report on here from the bremer, good too see. Yeah I also thought they have told people to stay away from the water?

its an upper bremmer river tributary above a couple of wiers and above tidal influences i am pretty sure it is safe and water is fairly clean lots of people up stream catching spangles on bait seemed not to be worried either
