Good bass

Day off today and I headed down the goldie early to chase flatties. Well that was rather fruitless and I only managed 3 small ones and a bream. Met up with Plastic Fantastic, nice to meet you mate, he got a nice flattie must have gone about 60 at least. Headed home at 11am. Anyway after a quick afternoon power nap I headed up to chase some bass. They are getting harder and harder to find, but I managed to find a spot which I'm pretty sure no one has been fishing.(?) It's kinda out of the way. It was a good session, but a LOT of casts put in!!! Got 5 bass, biggest 51 to the fork, a couple of high 40's and a couple of mid 30's. A fun day had though, all the way from the salt to the fresh :0.....Dan.

Well done on the Bass there mate, it was good to meet you this morning. After finishing down the coast I went home and launched the yak at Wello for a shot at some Longies with no luck bloody westerly was howling.
