the original special was for the FI, but most stores had none in stock so they have replaced it with the CI as way of an apology. they had a sign up in their reel dept at underwood explaining the change. i have new reels for the new pontoon rods so i am happy, more than :woohoo:

just called keperra, they are sold out but you can put a Rain check on them for the sale price and they will get them in for you at that price.

Cannon hill has a few, logan and morayfield also from what he said. and it is the stradic ci4's.

Now do i need one or two.....

Went into Keperra and asked for the 1000 at the same price so got that, and just bought the 2500 from ebay for 134 so I'm pretty happy. Motackle have the pflueger supreme xts down to 199 from 349 so that's a pretty good deal if anyone is interested.

no rain checks at capalaba store when i was there today. and 1000 was going for 299.... was getting one for a mate of mine who just started out but apparently he just missed out on a great entry level reel.
