queensland GC creek bass

Had some free time at lunch today so I headed out for my second attempt to open up this seasons bass account. Drove a little bit further upriver and found a new little stretch a short walk from the car.

Second cast in and the rod loads up on the slow rolled beetle spin.. aha finally :woohoo: Just a tiddler compared to the ex-NPD/Big W bass but still very happy to add it to the tally. Stayed for anotheer hour with only one dropped fish and a few snagged beetlespins and a TN50 to show for it.

Hopefully the cicada surface action starts up soon!

well done the surface action in the hinterland realy fires end of oct until early feb

I fished some hinterland creeks aswell on saturday, got a few on tn50's, then lost the lure that did all the damage :blush:

The fish seem to be sitting fairly deep in the middle still, wont be too long until the surface action goes off, few more weeks of warm days like today and it will be game on again!
