My first Yak yaaay

So after all this time of being stuck on the bank I finally went out and bought myself a yak! I bought a Lifetime angler 3.0.

Can't wait for the weekend to hit the water and christen the yak. Has anyone got experience with those Soft Roof Racks/ are they any good?

the soft roof racks will do for the short term

but recommend you upgrade to hard racks as the soft ones leaves dents in your roof

nice yak mate! i used the soft racks and have no issues with them at all. i usually do 1hr drives to the coast and no problems when going 100km

Yeah cheers for the answer on the soft racks Took 'her' out yesterday arvo for a quick paddle in the Logan.. I am HOOKED. Still trying to think of name but I'm sure one will come up. Thanks guys im a proud recruit of the plastic navy..

I have one of these yaks too mate.

A little on the slow side but the stability they give is awesome.

An easy yak to stand and cast from.

The blog site is heaps helpful. The motor mount looks like a worthy upgrade.
