queensland Dam Bass

G'day All,

Slow night, so just thought I would chuck up a report of a session Jimmybob (James W) and I had on Friday night.

We went out to one of Jimmy's mates dams, which is stocked with bass, and a rumoured toga.

All up, four fish caught, all on surface. These fish were a fantastic colour, and hit the lures with violence, awesome.

Cheers Manni, I have never caught bass quite that colour, very nice fish. So when are you coming out into the fresh again?

The colours on those fish are awesome, much darker then any dam or creek fish i have caught before. Good sizes too, congrats fellas.

Love the look of them when they get really dark like that, would have been a fun little session.

Darker bass seem to come from heavily weeded areas, well done they look like good fighters

Looks like a real nice dam there Ryan. Pretty big by the look of it. Good stuff.

I'm on a few acres myself and have been considering putting in a dam to stock with fish, but it's SO expensive to get them built, thousands of dollars to get them done properly.
