Couple of muddies some sandies, frustrating S.P

While my pots soak ill always have a fish to pass the time. Now ive always been a bait on my hook man but this soft plastics craze is getting the better of me. I know once I catch my first fish on plastics ill be hooked. Been watching alot of youtube clips to get the technique but compared to fishing with bait god its hard work, but kinda fun. Any tips on jig/hook size and what type of plastic would be great, used in the river. Picked up the pots this morning for 3 muddies and 5 sandies. Not a big catch but was trying new spots. The snap was caught on bait:D
