Here's a photo from when I went to the Barra Park at Bli Bli 2 weekends ago with Jimbell.

I was suprised at how small the hooks are that they guys recommend you use. They definitely worked tho.

I wonder if that has something to do with how barra suck the bait in like a seriously overpowered vacumm

The guy there said they were that size to be hidden in the pellet, plus any thicker gauged hook and it splits the pellet in two.

Next time your there, try this rig!

Small threadline(with a good smoothe drag), 2lb fireline - 60cm of 3lb fluro carbon - 10 cm of 10lb flurocarbon. The Tim's finesse rig for the barra park!

You forgot to add Tim, at least 110m of that fireline, coz the pond is only 100m wide, that way you wont get spooled!
