One of those little birdies let slip today about 2 AFO members who went on a fishing voyage on Moreton Bay a few days ago and ran out of petrol.

After deploying a V Sheet they were towed across to Amity to buy more go go juice to get home.

I wonder who these very embarrassed and secretive sailors are.(stu and pancakes) LMFAO :silly:

Yeah it did Manni, had to be the most embarrasing thing that has ever happened on my boat.

It's never happened before and will never happen again.

Always did a manual check of the fuel level in my tank!!

At least you got a few fish, would have been a whole lot worse if you'd had a doughnut as well!!

Yeah, cant manually check my tank unfortunately..... Anyway, wont happen again

When I had an under floor tank even though I trusted the gauge I still filled the boat after each trip unless it was being laid up for A while. Took 135 litres in total so was not so much of an ouch if topped up each time.
