make an anchor

i need a another decent anchor. i made a pully system up for the next wavebreak trip,the same system that tugger uses.its a great system that keeps the boats out in the deeper water off the beach.to keep the cost down i made an anchor to attatch to it for my mooring.

really easy to make cost $35 in steel from the off cut section at the steel yard and that made 2. to galvanise it was going to cost $66 at carol park but they said there runing a 4 week turn around atm so i just rust proof and and used silver kill rust for this one so i can use it.i made six up and they will be getting gal i just have to wait 4 weeks for them thats all.

its worth it considering a new sarca anchor is nearly $400

Quality work as usual mate! did you try ringing NGI at richlands, possible to be alot shorter wait as carol park has construction work going on with the plant..

haha i cant use a gaurd on that, its a 115mm grinder and iam running 125mm cuuting disc

after a little while it becomes a 115mm disc
