There are a lot of freshies in the dam. There is also that much food around that you never have them bother you, also they get frightened off easily. We saw one a few times at the barron arm.

For anyone that knows the area an uncle saw a 2.5-3m saltie waddling down the malanda dump road. There isnt any salt anywhere near there and there is a range between the fresh and the salt, 50-100k. A very very long walk. I think that one could have been someones pet that they let into the local creek once it got a bit of size.
