What size Steez for a Jaeger?

Hey guys!

Just looking for advice on what size steez would best match the Nordic Stage Jaeger as a light hardbody outfit.

Is the stripper guide on the jaeger too small for the 2508 spool? Would I be better off with a 2004?

i would go a 2004, ive got a 2500 stradic on my sharpshooter and the daiwas are always abit bigger then shim, also the sharpshooter is alittle bigger.

I run a steez 2508 on my sharpshooter however also ran it on the Jaeger a couple times. Physically there is no issue running the steez 2508 on the Jaeger but a little unbalanced.

Unbalanced as in too heavy? or too chunky looking? I didn't think the 2508 weight would be and issue at 195gm!

Get a 2500 and a 2508 spool

Have fished both steez 2500s and 2508s on my jaegars. It's my actual combo for flicking plastics in canals and have no issues at all. I reckon these sized reels balance fine on the jaegar.

probably just it's size as oppose to weight - i had a 2004 hi gear custom on my jaeger which is quite a small reel but practically the same weight and felt more comfortable - just my personal preference
