First Logan River Bullie!

Left home at 5am. Greeted by every Mosquito in the southern hemispehere! Dropped my first 2 sharks with one biting through my leader and the other due to a bad hook up or early strike. As they say third time lucky! All my activity happened in a 1 hour window between 7:30 and 8:30am which was the turn of the tide from low. Shark released to fight another day. Are they any good to eat or do they take on the lovely mud flavour of the river?

They are good eating. Just tail them as soon as caught so that they bleed out and then ice down. I actually detail,head and gut them straight away and ice down the trunk. Never had any problems with amonia taste.

yeah mate near there. First 2 runs were on Mullet fillet and the one I landed hit a live 20cm catfish.
