Kevin, I thought I had seen a few posts from you saying how good BC's cast small Bream lures?

And while we are all out at North Pine casting BC's, spin sticks, alvey's, spin casts and handlines lets see which one catches more fish .

Also I laugh at the whole 100m, 20g slug thing. I reckon you'd be making half that at a max, realistically.

i never said BCs can handle those 2-3grms trout/bream lures as good as spins. but some baitcasters can cast 3-4grms lures for a useful distance.

if u laugh over 100m, u should have a look at my friend's casting distance. and even i can cast 2 ball sinkers (25-30grms) over 100m when my casting skill's maybe only half of urs. but of course, i can do that only with dc.

I only wish I could cast 100m, even with a 20g slug. Go down to a footy field and have a cast, then you will know for sure. 100m is a loooong way.
