Need an epirb? I was at Bias boating Tingalpa yesterday and they are selling brand new epirbs for $50. They expire next year when they become redundant but are a bargain at that price and hopefully the new ones will have come down in price by then.

They are available at all branches.

Cheers

I reckon that if I was going to get a new epirb now though, I would just faulk out the extra and go the 406. They can pinpoint your location alot faster with the 406's and they arn't going to come down in price that much anyway I wouldn't think.

I mean whitworths have them for $399 so even if they came down to $349 you'd still be breaking even, but with a much safer system in the 406.

There's a video about them here: http://beacons.amsa.gov.au/TVC%20406%20-%20Jan%2007.wmv

And here's the website: http://beacons.amsa.gov.au/index.asp

Just my thoughts.

Joel ;)
