Hi all, new kid on the block recently moved from VIC, looking at yak fishing access for the upper reaches of the Moyura diver known as Deua river 

not sure of water levels at the moment and don't wish to paddle to far to reach good water

Welcome to the Forum.

I have heard there is a lot of sand slugging going on in that area. I don't know it well enough to know where to avoid this and find deeper holes but I am sure if you spend some time yaking around you will find some cracking spots.

Thanks for that, your right I might just need to send a day paddling to see we're the water runs out and work back from there

Sounds like a good day. Do you have someone that could drop you off up stream somewhere and pick you up somewhere else?
