Dam has risen at least 3 feet so reckon redclaw will explode in a few weeks time as they can now feast on all the submerged grass on the edges. Fishing was a bit hard but Steve ended up with a feed of redclaw and we boated 32 bass and 5 forkies. About 10 of the bass would have been unders or just on 30cm and the best bass just over 40cm. All fish were released. CHeers Ray

Another nice session you've had, good to see the water levels rising. Good job on the bass too, did the forkies become redclaw bait?

Today at noon Seqwater showed 63.5% for NPD and 96.2% for Kurwongbah at 14:36.

BOM forecasts falls  around 80/100 mm for Thursday so tomorrow might see lake K overflow!!

Percy had a couple of the forkies and the others were returned to the water with a slight headache.

Alright, they'd probably be recovered by now  (hopefully in something's stomach, even though, I'm pretty sure, nothing eats live ones)

Lake K was built on Sideling Creek which joins the North Pine just above the bridge at Young's Crossing.

Hopefully the work done means that the fish coming out of the dam won't be trapped in pools below the dam.

In the past there have been some significant fish kills in those pools.

This morning NPD was at 64.9% and Lake K at 103.6%
