Was having a look at the MSQ Notice to Mariners this morning and came across this one -

They are dredging the area to the northern ramp... It needs it !

While it is a very convenient spot for lots of fishing options, IMHO it is not a great spot for a ramp as it is too weather affected. 

I wonder if they could put in a shellfish reef, similar to a rock revetment wall out the front, to calm some of the weather, and put in a pontoon for boat launching? 

I would be happy to do the first bit
